PREVIEW: The stage is set at the Pandit Jawharlal Nehuru stadium, Goa for the mega final of the 2025-26 edition of AIFF Super Cup between the defending champions FC Goa and East Bengal FC, the champions of the 2024 edition of the tournament.
East Bengal FC won by a margin of 3-1 against Punjab FC in the semifinal, while FC Goa edged past Mumbai City FC by a margin of 2-1 in a competetiive match.
This is East Bengal FC as well as FC Goa's third entry in the Super Cup final. East Bengal lost against Bengaluru FC in 2018 and were the champion in 2024.
On the contrary FC Goa were the champion in the year 2019 and 2025.
