MATCH DETAILS- ISL : It was a thrilling game of two halves but Jamshedpur FC came out on top as they survived a second-half onslaught to beat Bengaluru FC 3-2 in their last Hero Indian Super League (ISL) game at the Tilak Maidan Stadium on Thursday. With both sides playing for the sixth spot, JFC held on to the win despite a spirited second-half show from Bengaluru, who finished seventh.

25/02/2021 (MATCH 106 - ISL) : JAMSHEDPUR FC <b><font color=red> 3-2 </b></font> BENGALURU FC

Goals from Stephen Eze (16'), Seiminlen Doungel (34') and David Grande (41') put JFC up at the break before Bengaluru responded through goals from Francisco Gonzalez (62') and Sunil Chhetri (71'). Jamshedpur were all over Bengaluru in the opening half. They constantly caused problems for Bengaluru's inexperienced defence and raced to a 3-0 lead at the break — their first-ever in ISL history.

Bengaluru's defence had been culpable of starting poorly — only Odisha have conceded more goals in the first half this season — and the Blues crumbled under pressure, yet again. Eze, who scored the winner in the reverse fixture, opened the scoring for JFC through a free-kick. The defender converted Aitor Monroy's cross at the far post after Bengaluru keeper Lalthuammawia Ralte failed to clear his lines.

Winter signing Doungel soon joined the party, netting his maiden goal for JFC and also the season's first. Farukh Choudhary squared the ball to Doungel, who skipped past his marker before drilling his shot at the far corner from an acute angle.

JFC continued their ruthlessness in front of the goal and found the net once again from a set-piece just before the closure of the first half. Monroy whipped a teasing cross in the box for the unmarked Grande, who nodded home past Ralte with ease. Bengaluru made two changes at the break — with Gonzalez and Erik Paartalu coming on. Those substitutions would prove handy as Naushad Moosa's side dominated the second half.

They received a way back as Gonzalez cut short their deficit with a strong finish. JFC's defence failed to deal with Parag Shrivas' throw-in and the Spaniard pounced on the loose ball, burying his header into the net. There was more to come from BFC and it was their talisman, Chhetri, who pulled another back with a landmark 100th goal. Harmanjot Khabra delivered a powerful cross in the box for Chhetri, who got ahead of Eze and scored a thumping header.

JFC's defence held firm in the dying minutes as they completed the double over their opponents.

MATCH DETAILS : Mumbai City FC’s chances of finishing at the top of the Hero Indian Super League received a huge blow as they suffered a 0-2 defeat against Jamshedpur FC at Tilak Maidan, Vasco, on Saturday.

Goals from substitutes Boris Singh (72’) and David Grande (90') helped JFC inflict a second-straight defeat upon the Islanders, who are undergoing their worst phase in the league so far. This result meant a win for ATK Mohun Bagan against Hyderabad FC on Monday would ensure them of the League Winners Shield and a maiden AFC Champions League spot.

20/02/2021 (ISL: MATCH-100) : JAMSHEDPUR FC <b><font color=red> 2-0 </b></font> MUMBAI CITY FC

It was a rather ordinary first 45 minutes with very little action throughout. Jamshedpur were the dominant side nullifying Mumbai’s usual free-flowing football. Owen Coyle’s men played a high-pressing game thus disrupting Mumbai City’s moves. JFC seemed to have done their homework right, as the Islanders found it difficult to play from the back as they usually do. They had just one shot in the first session, that too off target.

Though both sides didn’t have clear-cut chances, Mumbai’s Amrinder Singh was comparatively busier than JFC’s TP Rehenesh. Amrinder was called into action as early as the 5th minute when Isaac Vanmalsawma lashed in a cross from the left flank into the box for Nerijus Valskis. But his header was met by Amrinder’s palm. JFC kept knocking at the Mumbai goal throughout but weren’t getting the final touch. Seiminlen Doungel and Farukh Choudhary had their moments but again they couldn’t keep their attempt on target.

Valskis missed a chance to put his side ahead when he was played in by Isaac. However, the Lithuanian headed way over. Nothing changed in the second session as JFC continued their attack on the Mumbai goal. Isaac sent a cross to Choudhary, who showed great technique in controlling the ball before getting past his marker, only to see his attempt saved by Amrinder.

It was no surprise when JFC got the ball in the back of the net in the 72nd minute. Aitor Monroy hit a low delivery at the near post and Choudhary got ahead of Ahmed Jahouh and flicked it to the middle. Boris was there at the right place at the right time to slam the ball into the back of the net.

Mumbai had a chance to restore parity from a corner. Cy Goddard was able to find Mourtada Fall with his delivery by the last-named but fired his header wide. Grande ensured full points for JFC with a fine finish. Isaac and Monroy combined in the middle of the park with little pressure before the Spaniard slipped the ball into the path of Grande, who stabbed it past Amrinder.

MATCH DETAILS - ISL : An injury-time own goal from Enes Sipovic proved to be the difference as Jamshedpur FC edged Chennaiyin FC 1-0 at the GMC Stadium in Bambolim in the Hero Indian Super League on Wednesday. Jamshedpur did not register a single shot on target, compared to Chennaiyin’s four but still ended on the winning side. The result lifted Owen Coyle's team to the sixth spot while Chennaiyin stayed eighth.

The opening half proved to be a cagey contest with both sides displaying great defensive organization. Chennaiyin started bright and fashioned chances but failed to convert them again. Jamshedpur eventually grew into the game but lacked incision in the attacking third.

10/02/2021 (ISL : Match 89) : CHENNAIYIN FC - <b><font color=red> 0-1 </b></font> - JAMSHEDPUR FC

Jamshedpur keeper TP Rehenesh was called into action early on, forcing a fine save from Lallianzuala Chhangte. The youngster received the ball from Memo Moura on the left and cut inside before curling his shot towards the far post. However, his effort was parried away by Rehenesh, who displayed great awareness.

Chennaiyin created their next big chance of the game around the half-hour mark but Jamshedpur’s defence stood tall. Chhangte was again involved as he slid a pass into the box from the left. An onrushing Rahim Ali hit it first time but Ricky Lallawmawma put his body on the line to deny Chennaiyin.

Minutes later, Reagan Singh was set through on goal before a last-ditch block from Stephen Eze meant Chennaiyin squandered another chance. The second half was a see-saw game of football and Jamshedpur came out stronger after the break. They created two big openings before the hour mark but Alexandre Lima and David Grande both failed to keep their shots on target.

Both sides failed to create much until the dying stages, where there was a lot of drama in store. The best chance of the game fell to Chennaiyin when Thoi Singh was released into the box and had a chance to score but played a cut-back to Chhangte, which was intercepted.

That miss would haunt them as Jamshedpur would find the winner in fortuitous fashion.Receiving the ball on the right, Grande cut inside on his left foot before launching a fierce strike that took a deflection of Sipovic before trickling into the back of the net, leaving Chennaiyin coach Csaba Laszlo in disbelie.

01/02/2021 (ISL: M-79) : ODISHA FC - <b><font color=red> 0-1 </b></font> -JAMSHEDPUR FC

MATCH REPORT : Jamshedpur FC recorded a morale-boosting 1-0 win against Odisha FC in the Hero Indian Super League at the GMC Stadium, Bambolim, on Monday. Mohammad Mobashir Rahman scored a 41st-minute goal which proved to be the difference between the two sides, ending JFC’s five-game winless streak and keeping their playoff hopes alive.

Stuart Baxter made two changes from Odisha’s 1-1 draw against Bengaluru, handing a start to Bradden Inman who had joined on loan from ATK Mohun Bagan. Paul Ramfangzauva was the other change in the playing XI. For Jamshedpur, center-back Peter Hartley returned from injury and Mobashir replaced Aitor Monroy.

Arshdeep Singh has been having an excellent campaign this year for Odisha and the custodian was called into action early on. Seiminlen Doungel dispossessed Rakesh Pradhan and, on entering the penalty area, forced a save from Singh.

01/02/2021 (ISL: M-79) : ODISHA FC - <b><font color=red> 0-1 </b></font> -JAMSHEDPUR FC

Odisha should have scored in what would have been a well-worked team goal. Ramfangzauva set Jerry Mawihmingthanga through in the Jamshedpur penalty area, and the latter beat a market before losing possession to Narender Gahlot. The ball rolled towards Manuel Onwu, who fumbled in front of the goal, before being cleared out for a corner.

The Jamshedpur defenders were at their best despite being under a lot of pressure. Stephen Eze and Hartley managed to thwart the danger posed by their opponents. Going forward, their attack looked dangerous too. Doungel was impressive for JFC and may have finally found a place that could get the best out of him. He nearly assisted a goal at the half-hour mark but Farukh Choudhary struck over the bar.

JFC finally broke the deadlock in the 41st minute through Mobashir. The youngster put in a cross for Nerijus Valskis, whose movement in the box confused Singh, and the ball went straight into the goal. The Odisha keeper should have done better.

Doungel continued to trouble the Odisha defense after the restart. After getting the ball on the flank, he cut inside and tested Singh, who pushed the ball out for a corner. But JFC failed to take advantage of the resulting corner. Singh was called into action once again when Alexandre Lima tried his luck from a distance only to see his effort saved.

OFC kept attacking but poor passing in the final third saw them lose possession and hardly test the keeper. At the other end, Singh kept his side in the game with yet another save to deny Choudhary. Odisha had a late penalty claim when Diego Mauricio was tripped in the area by TP Rehenesh, but the referee turned down the appeal.

MATCH DETAILS - ISL : Kerala Blasters were made to rue their missed chances as they played out a goalless draw with Jamshedpur FC in the Hero Indian Super League at the GMC Stadium, Bambolim on Wednesday. Kerala were, by far, the superior team overall and created more chances than Jamshedpur but lacked the cutting edge in the final third, which denied them their fourth win of the season.

27/01/21 (ISL: M-73)</b> : KERALA BLASTERS - <b><font color=red> 0-0 </b></font> - JAMSHEDPUR FC

The first half proved to be a pulsating affair but attackers of both sides were guilty of missing chances. Jamshedpur dominated the opening quarter and had the opportunity to take the lead early on, following a blunder from Kerala keeper Albino Gomes. He miscued a clearance, gifting the ball straight to Nerijus Valskis. The striker popped a shot at goal but Albino recovered well in time by managing a finger-tip save, which kissed the far-post before going out.

Valskis missed another gilt-edged chance in the 30th minute after some lovely build-up play from Jamshedpur. Aitor Monroy found the Lithuanian in the box with a delightful lob but Valskis fluffed his chance as he attempted an acrobatic volley. Kerala dominated the second quarter and fashioned three big chances, only to be denied by the woodwork on all occasions.

The first was when Gary Hooper unleashed a long-range shot that struck the underside of the crossbar before bouncing back into play. However, replays suggested that the ball crossed the line but it went unnoticed by the officials. Minutes later, Sandeep Singh whipped a teasing cross for Jordan Murray whose header brushed the upside of the frame.

And then, Lalthathanga Khawlhring rattled the crossbar again from close range in injury time, leaving Kerala assistant coach Ishfaq Ahmed frustrated on the touchline. After the restart, Kerala carried on from where they left off as they dominated the second half.

They had an opportunity to bag the opener after the hour mark when Khawlhring created space on the right and delivered a cross towards Murray at the far-post. The Australian’s looped header, however, flew inches wide of goal. Kerala threw the kitchen sink at their opponents as the game entered its final stages. They created chance after chance but lacked the finishing touch, and were forced to share points with Jamshedpur at the full-time whistle.

MATCH REPORT - ISL : Jamshedpur FC and Hyderabad FC shared a point each as they canceled each other out in a goalless draw in the Hero Indian Super League at the Tilak Maidan Stadium, here on Sunday. While Hyderabad ended up drawing their third game on the trot, Jamshedpur nabbed their first win of the calendar year, after a treble of losses. New signings Farukh Choudhary and Seiminlen Doungel were among the four changes made by Jamshedpur while Roland Alberg was handed his first start as Hyderabad rang in two changes. .

The opening half was an intriguing, open-ended contest with both sides hitting the post but failing to find the net. Hyderabad fashioned better chances but Jamshedpur keeper TP Rehenesh produced two fine saves to keep the scoreline goalless heading into the break.

24/01/21 (ISL : M-69)</b> : JAMSHEDPUR FC - <b><font color=red> 0-0 </b></font> - HYDERABAD FC

Rehenesh was called into action in the ninth minute after Hyderabad started brightly. Aridane Santana found Joel Chianese with a neat through ball in the box but the latter's effort was kept out by Rehenesh, who came off his line well in time.

The Jamshedpur custodian pulled off another fine save around the half-hour mark, denying Halicharan Narzary this time. Receiving the ball from Chianese, Narzary made his way into the box before drilling a shot at the far corner. Rehenesh dived full stretch to push the ball away, as it rattled the post.

Jamshedpur started imposing themselves as the first half drew to a close and nearly broke the deadlock from a corner. Hyderabad keeper Laxmikant Kattimani fluffed his lines while dealing with Aitor Monroy's cross, allowing Stephen Eze to head the ball. But his effort struck the woodwork before being cleared out.

The second half turned out to be a scrappy affair. Neither sides were able to carve out clear-cut chances with both sides defending resolutely. Hyderabad had a chance to score through a set-piece but Santana failed to keep his shot on target. Hitesh Sharma's free-kick was cleared by Eze and it fell to Santana, who sliced his volley wide of the post.

Jamshedpur registered their first shot on target in the 87th minute, with Nerijus Valskis missing a half chance. Farukh won the ball and delivered a cross in the box for Valskis whose header was aimed straight at Kattimani. The best chance of the game arrived in injury time with Farukh nearly handing Jamshedpur the lead. Prancing into the box after receiving a long ball from Monroy, the forward had only the keeper to beat, but his shot found the side netting.

MATCH REPORT - ISL : Khalid Jamil made a winning start as NorthEast United Head Coach in the Hero Indian Super League as the Islanders saw off Jamshedpur 2-1 at the Tilak Maidan Stadium, Vasco on Sunday. The result ends NEUFC’s seven-game winless run and propels them to fifth on the points table.

 17/01/ 21 (ISL M-61) : JAMSHEDPUR FC -- (<b><font color=red> 1-2 </b></font>) -- NORTH EAST UNITED

Ashutosh Mehta (36') put NEUFC ahead with his first Hero ISL goal before substitute Deshorn Brown (61') doubled the tally for the Highlanders on his debut. Jamshedpur skipper Stephen Hartley (89') pulled one back for his side late in the game but despite pressing the NEUFC defense hard in the second half, Owen Coyle's side slumped to a third straight defeat.

NEUFC were the better side in the opening half, dominating possession and creating goal-scoring opportunities. They deservedly went into the break with a one-goal cushion which could have been more, but for some crucial saves by JFC goalkeeper TP Rehenesh.

It was Jamshedpur who created the first big chance of the game in the 8th minute but NEUFC custodian Subasish Roy Chowdhury denied them the opener. After Jamshedpur won a throw-in, Khassa Camara's poor clearance fell towards Nerijus Valskis, who found Jadhav just outside the box. The youngster, in turn, whipped a cross for Valskis, who controlled the ball and struck on the volley but saw his shot blocked by Chowdhury.

The best chance for NEUFC arrived during the 32nd minute. Luis Machado, a constant livewire in the first half, came close to breaking the deadlock but Rehenesh did well to keep it out thanks to a brilliant acrobatic effort. Suhair VP delivered a cross for the Portuguese, who attempted an overhead kick which was parried away.

Just four minutes later, NEUFC made amends for it as they scored from a set-piece. Federico Gallego delivered a delicious cross from the corner flag and Mehta rose above his marker at the far post to head the ball into the net. Jamshedpur started strong in the second half, pushing their opponents on the back foot. However, a defensive error saw them concede again.

Isaac Vanmalsawma, brought on at half-time, gave the ball away after a sloppy pass. Gallego received the ball from Machado and threaded a through pass for substitute Brown, who slotted it past Rehenesh.Jamshedpur had a chance to cut short their deficit after Chowdhury put himself in trouble, courtesy of a miscued goal kick. The ball was intercepted by Valskis, who made a run into the box and shot on goal but Chowdhury redeemed himself with a crucial save.

Coyle's side received a glimmer of hope late on in the game after captain Hartley scored through a corner, which was his first for Jamshedpur. They continued to test NEUFC and could've bagged a dramatic equaliser in injury time, had Valskis not fluffed his chance. Hartley played a long ball for the Lithuanian who blazed his header over the bar.

14/01/ 21 (ISL - MATCH 58) : FC GOA --(<b><font color=red> 3-0 </b></font>)-- JAMSHEDPUR FC

It was end-to-end play in the opening minutes which saw both sides fashion goal-scoring opportunities. Jamshedpur had an early opportunity to take the lead when they were awarded a free-kick outside the box. Aitor Monroy's outswinging freekick into the box was there to be put in by Peter Hartley, but the skipper couldn't get the right connection.

At the other end, Goa pressured the opponents and nearly broke the deadlock when Brandon Fernandes played Ortiz through on goal, but the latter’s shot was kept out by TP Rehenesh. However, the custodian couldn’t stop Ortiz in the 19th minute. Noguera’s brilliance on the right saw him get past his marker with quick feet and composure. The Spaniard then squared to Ortiz, who fired into the bottom corner.

JFC had their best chance to level terms in the 25th minute. Alexandre Lima got past James Donachie on the left and on reaching the byline, played a cutback pass for Valskis. But the Lithuanian’s strike was saved by Naveen.Soon after the restart, Ortiz scored his second. Noguera played Brandon through and the Goan squared it towards Ortiz. He took a first-time shot, which hit the post but he did not miss on the rebound.

Ortiz had the chance to complete his hat-trick a while later but this time, Rehenesh pulled off a fine save. While the Goa attackers were doing their job, they were well backed up by their keeper Naveen, who was at his best to frustrate JFC strikers. Naveen denied his former teammate Jackichand Singh with a brilliant save to ensure a clean sheet.

Things got worse for JFC when Lima was sent off for his second yellow after a tackle on substitute Devendra Murgaonkar. Then, Goa scored their third through Ivan Gonzalez. The defender played a one-two with Angulo at the edge of the box and dinked the ball past Rehenesh, into the net.

MATCH REPORT - ISL : Ten-men Kerala Blasters put up an inspired show to register their second win of the season as they brushed aside Jamshedpur FC 3-2 at the Tilak Maidan Stadium, Vasco on Sunday.

Kerala took the lead early through Costa Nhamoinesu (22') but his opener was neutralised by Nerijus Valskis (36') before the break. The Jamshedpur striker netted once again in the second half (84') but it only came after Jordan Murray's brace (79', 82') which propelled Kerala to seal the game.

10.01.21 ( ISL : M-54) : JAMSHEDPUR FC - <b> <font color=red> 2-3 /b></font> - KERALA BLASTERS

Both sides went into the break locked in a stalemate, after testing each other and creating a flurry of chances in the first half. Jamshedpur started strong and should have bagged the lead as early as the 4th minute after some delightful build-up play. Valskis did well to hold the ball and found Mobashir Rahman, whose cross found Jadhav. But the youngster's effort deflected off the post.

Seven minutes later, Kerala fashioned a gilt-edged opportunity which was the best chance of the opening half. Gary Hooper put Murray through on goal with a decisive pass that split open the Jamshedpur backline. But with only the keeper to beat, the Australian skewed his shot over the bar.

However, Kerala soon made amends for the early miss as they broke the deadlock from a set-piece. Facundo Pereyra swung a delicious cross in the box for Costa, who got ahead of Jamshedpur keeper TP Rehenesh and headed home.

Jamshedpur rallied back soon after conceding and would go on to restore parity from a set-piece after Lalruatthara fouled Alexandre Lima in a dangerous area outside the box. Valskis curled his free-kick over the wall and into the top bottom corner past Kerala custodian Albino Gomes, ending his three-match goalless streak.

Jamshedpur dominated proceedings after the restart, making constant raids into the opposition box but couldn't find a way. The best chances fell for Jackichand Singh, who struck the woodwork twice. Kerala were reduced to ten men just after the hour mark after Lalruatthara was shown a second yellow card for a rash tackle.

But despite being a man down, two defensive errors from Jamshedpur helped Kerala gain an advantage. They took the lead from a set-piece. After Jessel Carneiro's throw-in was cleared away poorly by Stephen Eze, Pereyra won the ball and tested Rehnesh from close range. The ball fell to Murray on the rebound and he scored a tap-in. A decisive blunder from Rehenesh three minutes later allowed Murray to score again, seeing the shoulders drop in the Jamshedpur dugout.

Valskis got on the scoresheet again to revive Jamshedpur's hopes of a comeback. The striker buried his header into the net from Mobashir's cross to cut short his side's deficit. But in the end, his goal came a little too late as Kerala went home with the three points.

MATCH REPORT - ISL : It was yet another case of the Monday Blues for Bengaluru FC. This time, Jamshedpur FC notched up a gritty 1-0 victory over the former champions in a Hero Indian Super League game at the JL Nehru Stadium, Fatorda here, on Monday.

Sunil Chhetri's side fell to a Stephen Eze (79') goal as the Men of Steel leapfrogged Bengaluru FC to third spot with 13 points from nine matches. BFC stay fourth with 12 points from eight games.

28.12.20 : (ISL : M-41) : BENGALURU FC -- <b><font color=red> 0-1 </b></font> -- JAMSHEDPUR FC

Rehenesh’s brilliance at the half-hour mark kept the scoreline goalless. It was two against one for BFC when Suresh was set on goal by Chhetri. With just the keeper to beat, Suresh laid it for Cleiton Silva, but his weak pass was well intercepted by Rehenesh.

Both teams kept knocking on the door with Chhetri missing another attempt for BFC while Gurpreet Singh denied Jackichand Singh with a brilliant save. But they went in goalless at the break.

JFC finally broke the deadlock through Eze, who scored his third goal of the season. Lima played a weighted pass to Aniket on the right and the latter floated a cross in the box. Eze got past his marker and dived low to score past Gurpreet.

With just five minutes left on the clock, Rehenesh denied Bheke with a point-blank save.

23.12.20 : (ISL: M-38) : JAMSHEDPUR FC -- ( <b><font color=red> 1-2 </b></font>) -- FC GOA

Stephen Eze (33’) had put Jamshedpur ahead in the first half but Angulo’s brilliant brace (64’, 90+4’) helped Goa claim all three points and end JFC's six-match unbeaten run.

Both sides showed attacking intent from the word go but had just a single shot on target in the first half as they failed to create clear-cut opportunities.

Brandon Fernandes had a chance to put his side ahead in the game early on when he was set up by Jorge Ortiz on the left. The midfielder got the ball at the edge of the box and curled at the far post, but only to see his attempt miss the top corner.

Jamshedpur broke the deadlock at the half-hour mark and the goal came from a set-piece. Aitor Monroy put in a long ball at the far post and Eze managed to beat Mohammad Nawaz with an outstretched right foot. The Goa custodian should have done better.

Jamshedpur’s defence frustrated Goa's attack in the first half, with Eze standing tall at the back. The defender was there to thwart every danger posed by the Gaurs. Though Goa dominated in terms of possession and passes, they hardly tested Jamshedpur keeper TP Rehenesh in the first 45 minutes.

JFC nearly doubled the lead, soon after the restart but Nawaz’s brilliant save kept his side in the game. Isaac Vanmalsawma found Jackichand Singh and the former Goa player played a first-time pass to Aniket Jadhav. He pulled the trigger but an alert Nawaz did well to deflect the ball over the bar.

Goa squandered an opportunity when Angulo shot wide with only the keeper at his mercy. Minutes later, Ortiz had a shot saved by Rehenesh. But Goa were not to be denied. The Gaurs were awarded a penalty when James Donachie was brought down in the box by Alexandre Lima. Angulo sent the keeper in the wrong direction to net his seventh goal of the competition.

Jamshedpur nearly restored their lead in the 70th minute but Nerijus Valskis’ brilliantly-taken free-kick came off the crossbar.

Goa were lucky not to concede late in the game when Valskis played Lima on goal. The latter took a first-time shot which hit the crossbar, bounced off the line, and came back in to play. But replays suggested that the ball bounced inside the goal.

That decision would cost Jamshedpur dear as Angulo guided in a corner-kick in stoppage time to gift Goa the win.

NorthEast nearly had the chance to go ahead in the 18th minute when Idrissa Sylla and Appiah combined well at the edge of the box. However, the Ghanaian striker placed his effort wide. Isaac Vanmalsanwma and Jackichand Singh linked up well in the opposition box. The latter then swung in a cross for an unmarked Jadhav, who found the back of the net with ease.

The Red Miners almost doubled their advantage in the 79th minute but were unlucky. Jackichand received the ball on the right and whipped in a cross that was intended to find Nerijus Valskis but only managed to rattle the woodwork. Jamshedpur defended with resilience in the dying minutes to ensure they bagged their second win of the season.

Mumbai found their equaliser in 15th minute. Adam Le Fondre made a run down the right before squaring the ball to Bipin Singh. The latter found Ogbeche and the Nigerian unleashed a powerful drive past Jamshedpur keeper TP Rehenesh. In 28th minute, the match turned firmly in Mumbai's favour. Monroy brought Ogbeche down right in front of the referee and got his second yellow.

The second half picked up where the first had left off with Sergio Lobera's men giving everything in their bid to find a winner. They missed a golden opportunity in the 61st minute when a blocked Ogbeche shot trickled down to Rowllin Borges. The midfielder had the goal gaping in front but somehow managed to hoof it over the bar.

Ogbeche then missed a clear-cut chance to put his team ahead in injury time, failing to divert a free header from close range into goal.

REPORT - ISL : Stephen Eze salvaged a point for Jamshedpur FC with an 85th-minute strike to help his side hold Hyderabad FC to a 1-1 draw in their Hero Indian Super League Season 7 match at Tilak Maidan, on Wednesday. Aridane Santana scored his second goal of the campaign to give Hyderabad a 55th-minute lead. The Nizams remain unbeaten in the competition while JFC are yet to taste victory.

Mohammed Yasir and Hitesh Sharma were back for Hyderabad, with Liston Colaco also handed a first start. Laximikant Kattimani came in for Subrata Paul. Owen Coyle made two changes to the side which was held by Odisha FC and preferred Amarjit Singh over Issac Vanmalsawma in midfield. With TP Rehenesh serving his one-match suspension, Pawan Kumar featured in the Jamshedpur goal.

02/12/2020 : (ISL: M-14) HYDERABAD FC <b><font color=red> 1-1 </b></font> JAMSHEDPUR FC

It took less than five minutes for Hyderabad to launch their first attack. Quick passing from the Nizams allowed them to venture deep into Jamshedpur territory but Akash Mishra’s final delivery in to the box failed to find Liston Colaco. Jamshedpur dominated play in the first quarter. Nerijus Valskis and Alexandre De Lima kept the home defence on their toes with constant raids.

For Hyderabad, young Liston showed maturity beyond his age, supporting the defence while not neglecting his attacking duties. He nearly got his name on the scoresheet when his 12th-minute free-kick beat the wall but failed to find the goal.

Hyderabad were unlucky to have been denied by the post just before the breather. After getting hold of his marker, Santana found Halicharan Narzary, who dribbled past Laldinliana Renthlei. Having done everything right, Narzary was frustrated as his narrow-angled shot came off the far post.

Hyderabad were ahead five minutes after the restart with Santana scoring off a rebound. Narzary danced his way past Renthlei and pulled the trigger. Goalkeeper Kumar only succeeded in diverting it into the path of Santana, who rolled the ball into the net. With less than 20 minutes left, JFC thought they had scored, only for it to be disallowed by the referee. But their efforts finally paid off in the 85th minute when Eze fired home from inside the box. Chinglensana Singh’s clearance off a Nerijus Valskis cross fell to William Lalnunfela who laid the ball for Eze. The Nigerian made no mistake with his powerful shot.

REPORT- ISL : Jamshedpur FC's Hero Indian Super League game against Odisha FC was a game of two halves and two strikers. At the Tilak Maidan on Sunday, Jamshedpur's Nerijus Valskis dominated the first scoring twice (12', 27') and putting his team in a commanding position. Odisha's Diego Mauricio though grabbed headlines in the second, pulling one back in the 77th minute before driving home a stunning injury-time equaliser, to wrap up a thrilling 2-2 draw.

29.11.2020 : (ISL: M-10) :JAMSHEDPUR FC -- ( <b><font color=red> 2-2 </b></font> ) -- ODISHA FC

It did not take long for Owen Coyle's men to break the deadlock. Barely ten minutes in, Odisha goalkeeper Kamaljit Singh failed to deal with a cross and a goalmouth scramble ensued. It ended with Valskis turning and shooting at goal from close range, only for it to strike Odisha defender Gaurav Bora's hand. Referee Pratik Mondal promptly pointed to the spot and Valskis powered in the resulting penalty.

The game cooled down after the goal with both teams struggling to create chances. But it was Valskis again who shook it out of its stupor. And yet again, it was an Odisha defensive mistake that led to it. Around the half-hour mark, defender Shubham Sarangi leapt to clear a cross, but only succeeded in diverting it into Valskis' path. The Lithuanian still had it all to do — he was at a difficult angle to goal and had only a narrow path to it between the goalkeeper and the post. But he still managed to squeeze it in with a powerful drive.

Odisha did fashion the occasional attack with Marcelinho, in particular, remaining a threatening presence throughout the first half. But they struggled to create clear-cut chances. Odisha came alive in the second half with striker Manuel Onwu going close on a couple of occasions. In the 53rd minute, the Spaniard cut into the box before taking a shot. His effort though went wide. Then in the 60th, his acrobatic shot was well-saved by Jamshedpur keeper TP Rehenesh. The latter had more work to do from the resulting corner, palming a close-range shot over the bar.

There was more drama as Rehenesh got sent off in the 74th minute for handling the ball outside the penalty area. Substitute Mauricio struck the resulting freekick against the post, but the ball soon found its way back to him and he was able to bundle it in. With ten-men Jamshedpur defending doggedly, it appeared as if Odisha were running out of time. However, Mauricio had other ideas. In stoppage time, the Brazilian unleashed a powerful shot from just inside the box that no goalkeeper would have saved.
