CEREMONIAL OPENING AWAITS AT KOCHI
KFC NEWS DESK - 18.10.19: The 6th edition of ISL will start it's journey on the 20th October at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi. Two times champions ATK will face the challange of Kerala Blasters FC in the opening match. There will be a grand opening ceremony with high-octane performances by superstars Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani along with the Internationally acclaimed Indian dance group – Kings United.

The programme will be anchored by actor Dulquer Salmaan, the opening ceremony will start 6:00 pm. Kings United, winners of the recent World of Dance competition, will be adding a football flavour to dance with an energetic choreographic piece on various football kicks and moves celebrating the glorious Hero Indian Super League highlights. Disha Patani, Shroff and the dancers will perform choreographic pieces inspired by gymnastic and acrobatic moves along with high energy flips and stunts on their songs.

TWO ATK AND ONE FC GOA FOOTBALLERS UNDER SUSPENSION
KFC NEWS DESK - 18.10.19: ATK will miss the service of Jobby Justin and Anas Edathodia in the first couple of matches as they are under suspersion. The two new ATK signings will remain unavailable to be selected by ATK as the footballers serve out their respective carried forward suspensions. This was intimated by ISL in a press release.

Anas, who was with Kerala Blasters last season was handed a red card in a Hero Super Cup game against Indian Arrows, which means he will only remain suspended for the first game. While Jobby Justin has already served three of his six-match ban by the AIFF Disciplinary Committee. Jobby will miss the away game against Kerala Blasters along with Hyderabad FC (October 25) at home and Chennaiyin FC (October 30) in the away encounter.

The midfielder of FC Goa Ahmed Jahouh are also under supension for the first match. Jahouh was sent off in the first part of Extra Time with a double booking in the 2018-19 final against Bengaluru FC.

ISL AS TOP TIER LEAGUE MOTIVATE THE FOOTBALLERS: HABAS
KFC NEWS DESK-17.10.19: The chief coach of ATK, Antonio Lopez Habas are quite confident with his team at the stoke of the opening match of the 6th edition of Indian Super League. ATK will face Kerala Blasters FC at an away encounter on the 20th of October.
ISL AS TOP TIER LEAGUE MOTIVATE THE FOOTBALLERS: HABAS
ISL now being promoted as the top tier football league in India. While answering to a question at a city hotel in Kolkata, the Spanish coach said, this will act as a good motivation for the footballers as well as ISL. It will open a new gate and footballers will have a new opportunity to play with the top rankings football clubs of Asia.

ATK is now ready for the forth coming tournament after a good pre season during the last few weeks. The team is fully fit and there is no information regarding any injuries. Habas while interacting said, ATK will proceed match by match in the tournament. The team is a good combination of young talented and experienced footballers and are confident to prove as the tournament progess.

Sanjay Sen, the Technical Director while answering to the media said the main target of ATK is to score and not to conceed any goals. It will be a cautious and safe approach in all the matches according to the necessities.

Regarding the connection of Spain in Kolkata, the I League winning coach said that it is good that other clubs of Kolkata are following the same path after ATK's friutful mission in ISL. ATK will declare the name of the captain for the forth coming edition shortly.
