Moonlight Football Club will opentheir campaign against Garhwal Diamond FC in the inauguralmatch of the DLF-ONGC-SAIL-DELHI SOCCER ASSOCIATION Annual Open Clubs Football League Championship beginning frpm tomorrow at CWG Village Sports Complex, Aksardham The kick-off is at 1.30 pm. In second match of the day, Youngsters Clubwill take on COSMOS Club at 3.OO pm.

Twenty - two participating teams have been divided in three groups atprerliminary stage.

Group-I : Moonlight,Youngsters, Uttrakhand, Young Boys, Cosmos, Garhwal Diamond, Rohini.

Group-II: Indian Nationals, Delhi Cantt., Ajmal FC, Friends United, Banga Darshan, Collegians, Uttranchal Heroes, Young Sports.

Group-III: Shastri FC, Mughals, IAF Palam, Punjab Heroes, Ashoka FC, Frontiers, Royal FC.

Two top teams of each group will qualify for super-six round-robin league. The top two teams will qualify for the finalsand also to be promoted to senior division from next season. Two bottom teams of the preliminary league will be relegated to 'B' division after play-off matches among three bottomteams.

Meanwhile the DSA has constituted a leaguesub-committee consisting of Sharafat-ul-ah as chairman, Bhola Nath Karmakar- Convenor, Hafiz Shahid, Ashok Ghosh, AshokKumar as members for smooth conduct of the league.



PREMILINARY ROUND



The stage is all set to host round-robin super-six league

18.12.2012: The stage is all set to host round-robin super-six league in the DLF-ONGC-SAIL-DELHI SOCCER SSOCIATION with the qualification of six top teams after conclusion of preliminary round league consisting of twenty-three teams. The qualified teams are- Young Boys FC, Indian Nationals FC, Indian Air Force-Palam, Punjab Heroes, Moonlight, Young Sports.

The top two teams of super-six league will be promoted to Senior Division from next session. The matches will be played at CWG Sports Complex, Akshardham. Indian Nationals FC will take on Punjab Heroes FC in the inaugural match at 1.30 pm at CWG Sports Complex, Alkshardham while Young Boys FC will meet in second match of the day at 3.OO pm at CWG complex. In the relegation match, Uttranchal Heroes meets Mughals SC on Jan. 4 at 3.OO pm at the same venue.

The DSA discipinary committee, on recommendations of DSA LEAGUE- SUB COMMITTEE, has taken a serious view of non - reporting of Youngsters Club against Young Boys in group - A preliminary league match on December 6, has decided to take away all 15 points earned in the preliminary league resulted in to face relegation to B division. The third placed Moonlight team has been benefitted out of this decision to make it to super-six league.

Meanwhile, the Delhi Soccer Association,as per directives of All India Football Federation, will host few more Home-Away I-LEAGUE MATCHES of ONGC team at New Delhi. The matches will be held on December 22 against Shillong Lazong at JNS while matches on Dec. 29, against United Sikkim, against East Benga on Jan. 8 and against Salgaocar on Jan.12 will be played at Dr. Ambedkar Stadium respectively.



13.12.2012: YOUNG BOYS FC, INDIAN NATIONALS, YOUNGSTERS FC, Uttrakhand FC REGISTERED VICTORIES.

Young Boys FC, Indian National, Youngsters FC, Uttrakhand registered victories over their respective opponents in preliminary league matches of the DLF-ONGC-SAIL-DELHI SOCCER ASSOCIATION Annual "A" Division Open Clubs Football League Championship being held at DDA Netaji Sub hash Sports Complex, Jasdola and CWG Sports Villaege, Akshardham heretoday.

In group-B, Young Boys completed their engagements to remain top when they defeated Cosmos FC by a solitary goal. At interval, both teams levelled goalless. The winning goal came at fag end of the game following a penalty-kick awarded in favour of Young Boys in 7Oth mintue when Cosmos'defender Rahul Kapoor handled the ball inside the box, Young Boys striker Arjun Pandit successfully converted the spot-kick. Young Boys earned 16 points from 6 matches while Cosmos remained at bottom with only one point from 6 matches.

In group-B, Indian Nationals defeated Delhi Cantt. 3-O to top group by getting 19 points from 7 matches. Nigerian striker Chicky scored a brace. Devender added one more goal to complete tally. Delhi Cantt. finished their matches with 9 points from 7 matches.

In group- A match at CWG Com plex, Youngsters defeated Rohini by a lone goal. In another match of group-A, Uttrakhand defeated Garhwal Diamond 2-0. Rafiq and Sahil were the scorers in 17th mintue and 22nd mintue. Uttrakhand secured 8 points from 6 matches while Garhwal Diamiond finished with 6 points from 6 matches.

Indian Air Force Palam, Collegians FC registered victories over their respective opponents in preliminary league matches of the DLF-ONGC-SAIL-DELHI SOCCER ASSOCIATION ANNUAL 'A' DIVISION OPENS CLUBS FOOTBALL LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP being held at DDA Netaji Subhash Sports Complex, Jasola and CWG Sports Complex, Akshardham heretoday.

In group-C match, Indian Air Force Palam defeated Shastri Football Club to gain three full points to qualify for super- six league. Inside-left M. Khan and medio V. K. Singh struck goals in 14th and 23rd mintue. IAF collected 13 points from 5 matches and still to play their last match against Frontiers on Dec. 14. Shastri completed their engagements by getting 6 points from 6 matches. In another match of the group, Frontiers rallied to hold Ashoka Club 1-1 dfraw to split one point each.

Ashoka took 1-0 lead in 6th mintue through Aditya while Frontiers equalised 1-1 in 63rd mintue through Sidhant. Both teams have 7 points from 5 matches each and still have one match in hand. In group-B match, Collegians FC scored a 3-1 win over Uttranchal Heroes FC. Gaurav Gautam scored a brace in 11th and 27th mintue while Gaurav Gosain increased the lead to 3-0 in 38th mintue.

Uttranchal Heroes reduced margin 1-3 through Asish in 45th mintue. Collegians have 8 points from 6 matches while Uttranchal drew blank from 6 matches.

IN GROUP-C, Punjab Heroes defeated Royal Club by a solitary goal to qualify for super-six league. Manish Negi clinched match winning goal in 26th montue. Punjab Heroes have collected 13 points from 5 matches and will play their last matych against Ashoka on Dec. 14. Royal have 6 points from 5 games.

Young Boys Football Club rallied to beat Rohini FC 2-1 in group-A preliminary league match to maintain its unbeaten record in the DLF-ONGC-SAIL-DELHI OCCER ASSOCIATION Annual 'A' Division Open Clubs Football League Championship being held at DDA Netaji Subhash Sports Complex and CWG Akshardham Sports Complex. Young Boys have collected 13 points from 5 matches to qualify for the super- six league and still in hand one more match to play against Cosmos Club on Dec.13. Rohini FC drew first blood in 5Oth mintue through Shuubam. Young Boys' Suraj equalised 1-1 in 6Oth mintue while Nikhil scored 2-1 winning goal in 66th mintue.

Rohini have 3 points from 5 matches. In another group-A match, Uttrakhand FC hold Moonlight Club 1-1 draw to dash Moonlight's hopes for super-six qualification. The highlight of this match was a fine hat-trick scored by striker nigerian Chike who struck in 22nd, 26th and 30th mintue. In Group-A match, Garhwal Diamond scored a 1-0 victory over Rohini FC to register its first win. Harish Negi scored the winning goal in 45th mintue. Both have 3 points from 5 matches each.

Moonlight Sports Club defeated Cosmos Club 3-1 in group A preliminary league match of the DLF-ONGC-SAIL-DELHI SOCCER ASSOCIATION Annual "A" division open clubs football league championship being held at DDA Netaji Subhash Sports Complex , Jasola heretoday.

Moonlight surged 1-O ahead in 5th mintue through inside-left Felix. Cosmosequalised score 1-1 in 9th mintue through Dhruv. On changing ends, Moonlight's Atiq increased lead to 2-1 in 4Oth mintue while Sriram completed tally 3-1 in 61st mintue. Moonlight have collected 10 points from 5 matches while Cosmos have only 1 point from 4 matches.

In another Group-A match, Youngsters conceded a walk-over to Young Boys Club expressing their inability to field the team against their opponents. In Group-B Indian Nationals notched-up their second successive wion when they prevailed over spirited Uttranchal Heroes FC 2-1 to collect three full points. Nationals have 6 points from 2 matches while Utranchal Heroes drew blanlk from two games. National's Chika Cellistus put his side 1-0 in 5th mintue and Sartak made it 2-0 in 16th mintue.

Young Boys Football Club scored a 2-0 facil victory over Uttrakhand FC in group-A preliminary league match of the DLF-ONGC-SAIL-DELHI SOCCER ASSOCIATION (DSA) Annual 'A' division open clubs football league championship being held at CWG Village Sports Complex, Akshardham heretoday.

At end of the initial half proceedings, both teams were tied - up goalless. In the mid half of initial half, Uttrakhand wasted a golden goal scoring chance, but thereafter Young Boys lads settled and combined well to initiate good moves through their experienced medios Osman Johan Ekka and Arjun Pandit.

In the 37th mintue, out-side left Kartik opened score 1-0 off a well-connected through pass sent from right flank to put his side ahead. Suraj made it 2-0 in 65th mintue to complete tally. Moonlight Club and Youngsters Football Club registered victories over their respective opponents on the opening day of the DLF-ONGC-SAIL-DELHI SOCCER ASSOCIATION Annual A division open clubs football league championship which commenced today at CWG Village Sports Complex, Akarshardham heretoday.

In the inaugural match, Moonlight Club defeated Garhwal Diamond by a solitary goal to secure three full points in group-I preliminary league match.

The winning goal was scored by Sarvesh Mamliain in the 42nd mintue. Later on, in another match of group-I, Youngsters Club defeated Cosmos Club 2-1 to gain three points. Youngsters Talib Rizvi put his side 1-0 in 3rd mintue while Kuldip Singh increased lead 2-0 in 52nd mintue.

Delhi United Football Club scored a 3-0 victory over G. PRIDE - Veterans FC to qualify for super eight league of the DLF - ONGC-SAIL-DELHI SOCCER ASSOCIATION Annual Senior Division Open Clubs Football League Championship - 2012-13 being held at CWG Village Sports Complex, Akshardham heretoday.

Inside-left Deepak Mehra scored a brace in 38th and 61st mintue.while Micheal opened score 1-0 in 4th mintue. Delhi United topped group - B to collect 13 points from 6 matches while Veterans finished with 10 points. In another mach at Akshardham, Indian Air Force, New Delhi rallied to hold Tarun Sangha FC to a 1-1 draw to share equal points. Tarun Sangha took 1-0 lead in 9th mintue through Vipul while IAF levelled score 1-1 in 27th mintue through Pransanta Singh. Taarun Sangha completed their engagements by securing 10 points from 6 matches.

IAF secured 11 points to complete their engagements. In a do and die battle to avoid relegaion to lower division, NVD - City Football Club came from behind to hold Grant-Thornton- Royal Rangers FC to a 2-2 draw to split one point each. Royal Rangers were themseleves to be blamed in giving away 2-0 lead taken in the initial half proceedings through Manik Bag and Movande who scored in 27th and 39th mintue. City's Suraj scored a brace in 61st and 73rd mintue to levell the score to 2-2.

City completed their engagements with 3 points while Rangers finished with 2 points. Meanwhile, both teams had lodged protests against each other for fielding ineligible players. The DSA league sub-committee will issue show-cause notices to both teams to explain their position in the matter and submit their reply within 48 hours after receipt of the show cause notice.

With the complettion of tthe preliminary league matches, the stage is set for super-eight league to be held in the last week of this month ater return of Delhi team from Senior National Football Champioonship for Santosh trophy.

The teams qualified for super eight league are : Hindustan FC, Garhwal Heroes FC, Shahdara FC and Goodwill FC from Group-A,While Delhi United Fc, IAF, New Delhi, Tarun Sangha FC and Veterans. qualified from group - B, Meanwhiile, he final phase selecion trials to select Delhi team for Senior Nationals Football Championship for Santosh trophy will be held at Dr. Ambedkar Stadium from 10 AM onwards. 08.03.2013 : GARHWAL HEROES FC IN SEMI- FINALS

The play-off match scheduled between IOC-Garhwal Heroes Fc and last year's runners-up- Shahdara FC in the DLF-ONGC-DSA Annual Senior Division Open Clubs Football League Championship-2012-13 was abondened in the 86th mintue of the game after Shahdara FC refused to continue the game protesting against FIFA match referee Mohd. Kamil showing red card and giving marching orders to Shahdara FC's nigerian player Stephen (Jr. No. 24) for indulging in a violent act against rivals's player.

After this incident, Shahdara's players walked-out on the provocation of club officials. Referee gave sufficient time to the erring team but they did not accede to the referee's decision to continue the game. Hence, referee had no other option but to abondon the match and submitted his report to the league sub - committee for information.

The said report was endorsed by match commission Joginder Singh also. At the time of abonment of the match, IOC-Garhwal Heroes were leading by 1-0 scored by nigerian Joseph Camara who scored in the 64th mintue.

The league sub-committee considered the match referee and match commissioner reports and had taken a serious view of the incident and will initiate disciplinary action in the matter as per DSA rules/regulations.

Meanwhile, the committee has awarded the match to IOC- Garhwal Heroes FC who will meet Veterans FC in the second semi-final match to be played tomorrow at 3.00 pm. at Dr. Ambedkar Stadium.

Indian Air Force (New Delhi) scored a solitary goal victory over Grant Thornton-Royal Rangers FC to collect three full points in group-B preliminary league match played at DDA Netaji subhash Sports Complex, Jasola heretoday. The all important winning goal was scored by inside-right Edwin Anthoney in 45+1 mintue of initial half proceedings.

Royal Rangers's Don was given marching orders following using abusive language against match referee. IAF have now 10 points from 5 matches and will play their last match against Tarun Sangha tomorrow at CWG Complex. Royal Rangers have only one match and play their last match against City FC, who have two points, in a deciding relegation match tomorrow at Jasola ground at 2.00 pm.

Three foreign players can be listed by a club in plasyers list and can play on the day of their match Top four teams of each group will qujalify for super league scheduled to be held at Dr. Ambedkar Stadium after participastion of Delhi State team in the fourth coming Senior National Football Championship for Santosh trophy scheduled to be held at U P and Kerala from Februar 1 onwards.

Meanwhile, the Delhi Soccer Association has constitued a league sub-committee - cum - selection committee for smooth conduct of the league and selection of Delhi team. A keen tussle is on cards when TOP EIGHT CLUBS INCLUDING DEFENDING CHAMPIONS DELHI UNITED AND RUNNERS-UP-SHAHDARA FC WILL VIE FOR TOP HONOURS IN SUPER LEAGUE OF DLF-ONGC-DELHI SOCCER ASSOCIIATION ANNUAL SENIOR DIVISION OPEN CLUBS FOOTBALL LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP-2O12-13 starting from Sunday, February 24 at Dr.Ambedkar Stadium.

The qualified super league teams from the preliminary stage have been divided in two groups of four teams each as per groupings/fitures attached. The top two teams of each group will qualify for the semi-finals. SOLUTREAN - Hindustan Football Club will open its campagin against Veterans F. C. in the inaugural match of the super league. The kick-off is at 1.OO pm.

In the second match of the day, Indian Air Forcce, New Delhi will take on VVIP-Goodwill FC at 3.OO pm. The semi-finals will be played on March 4 while the final is slated for March 6. The final is slated on March 6. The winners of the league championship will be awarded DLF -ONGC - DSA excellence awards alongwith cash prize of Rupees 1,5O,OOO/-, while ruuners-up will get Rs.75OOO/-.

Lanky Nigerian striker Joseph Camara in his first season with the club scored the match winner in the 47th minute heading in a measured cross from the right by experienced midfielder Lalit Rawat. Garhwal Heroes bagged the DLF-ONGC DSA Excellence Prize along with cash prize of Rs. 1,50,000.

Runners Up Goodwill FC got Rs. 75,000 and a trophy. Both losing semi finalists G-Pride Veteran FC and ISS Delhi United got Rs. 40,000 each This is their second DSA league title. Garhwal Heroes DLF-ONGC DSA Sr. Div league championship had last won the DSA soccer league title way back in 1986, when they had beaten Youngsters FC also by 1-0 in the final at the Nehru stadium, Delhi.



Coached by former Delhi state and Border Security Force midfielder Sukhpal Singh Bisht, Garhwal Heroes were the dominant side in the final and could have won by a larger margin. They played in the 4-4-2 formation and used the thrust of wingers Kulbhushan Mandrawal on the left and Lalit on the right to create several dangerous moves, for their strikers the bustling Ganagamlung Kamei and roving Camara.

Newly promoted Goodwill FC, gave a spirited display in the first half. Their defence was ably marshaled by skipper Onyeka Frank, Sanjay Nihal and right back Ravinder Mohan Bisht. Midfielders Emmanuel and Balbir also played deep to thwart the Garhwal Heroes moves.



In the 47th minute, speedy Lalit surged down the right and sent a measured cross and an onrushing Camara despite a bandage on his head after a clash, headed past advancing goalkeeper Dephang Limbu. Garhwal Heroes were on the rampage and six minutes later should have wrapped up the match.

Camara's defence splitting diagonal pass set Lalit Rawat free on the right but from the edge of the six yard box he hesitated and shot wide. Midway through the second half, coach Sukhpal Bisht brought in experienced midfielders Trilok Bisht and Bhuvan Joshi to control proceedings. In the 83rd minute Camara advanced goalwards but finished feebly.

A keen tussle is on cards when formidable Garhwal Heroes Football Club will take on against newly-promoted Goodwill FC in the final of the DLF-ONGC-Delhi Soccer Association Annual Senior Division Open Clubs Footyball League Championship-2012-2013 scheduled for tomorrow at Dr. Ambedkar Stadium. Garhwal Heroes have reached in the final after defeating G - Pride- Veterans FC handsomely 3-0 in 2nd semi- final match played yesterday.

Earlier, Garhwal had defeated last year's runners-up Shahdara FC 1-0 in abondoned awarded play-off match to decide second semi-final berth. In the ist semi-final match, newly-promoted Goodwill FC stunned defending champions-Delhi UNited FC by a solitary goal to enter in the final, a rare achievement earned by a club in its first appearance. Garhwal Heroes have a solid line-up in their ranks with three foreign nationals namely- Francis Egware in defence line, Bala Al - Hassan and Joseph Camara in forward line.

Medios- Lalit Rawat Nirmal Deep are capable of feeding forwards-Kulbhushan Mandwal and Lalit Rawat to avail chances to demolish any side. On the other hand, Goodwill have shown good perfornance in the super league by defeating favourits. 09.03.2013: Garhwal Heroes Football Club will meet newly promoted Goodwill FC in the final of the DLF-ONGC-DELHI SOCCER ASSOCIATION (DSA) Annual Senior Division Open Clubs Football League Championship-2012-2013 scheduled on Monday, March 11 at Dr. Ambedkar Stadium.

In the 2nd semi-final held today, Garhwal Heroes FC scored a 3-0 facil victory over Veterans Club to enter in the final. Veterans Club were off colour and fail to match their strong opponents in all department of the game. At lemon- break Garhwal Heroes led 1-0 through a penalty-kick awarded to them in 29th mintue following handling of the ball inside the box by Veteran's defender Jaspreet Singh.

Garhwal Heroes' Yogesh Prasad successfully converted the spot-kick to put his side 1-0 ahead in 29th mintue. Veterans had few goal-scoring chances but opponents solid defence line particularly-Yogesh Prasad and nigerian recruit Francis Egware and lanky Inderjit Sharma stood firmy to foil Veterans attacks.

On changing ends, Veterans failed to match with the speed of their opponents and fumbled miserably. Out-side-left Gamlung Kamai took advantage off a rebound came from rivals' goalee Baljinder Singh who foiled the attack of Garhwal's striker Joseph Camara in 65th mintue, but Kamai nicely placed home to increase lead to 2-0.

An 86th minute goal by Nigerian striker Frank enabled newly promoted Goodwill Football Club (FC) to beat holders Delhi United by a solitary goal in the first semi final of the DLF-ONGC DSA Annual Senior Division Open Clubs Football League championships at the Ambedkar stadium here today.

In the the first half, formidable Delhi United, one of the three representatives from Delhi to take part in the forthcoming B Division I-League, had a distinct over newly promoted Goodwill. They initiated good moves from the flanks by midfielders, Delhi state captain Monu Chowdhury and ex-Mohun Bagan player Rishi Kapoor. However their forwards, Nigerian recruits I.K. Stanley and Michael were unable to beat the rival custodian Dephang, who made several acrobatic saves.

Delhi United were reduced to ten players in the 22nd minute after a goalmouth incident. Their goalkeeper P. D. Skailine advanced out of the 18 yard box and foiled an onrushing Goodwill forward Abdul Peter by clearing the ball with his hand. The referee gave a red card to the Delhi United goalkeeper P. D. Skailine.

In the second half, Goodwill Fc initiated a few good moves through Abdul Peter and former internationals, veteran Bhupinder Thakur and Rajesh Metei to make inroads in the Delhi United defence. However Goodwill FC's striker Shashank Mamgain, who represented Delhi in the recent Santosh trophy, failed to utilise these chances.

The match winner came in the 86th minute, through foreign recruit, Nigerian striker Frank. This goal enabled Goodwill FC to enter the final of the DSA League in their debut year in the senior division league.

The second semi finals scheduled between G-Pride Veterans and Shahdara Fc was postponed, following a representation received by the affected clubs namely IOC-Garhwal Heroes and Tarun Sangha. In their representation Garhwal Heroes and Tarun sangha requested the DSA managing committee to review the decisions of the Disciplinary committee.

A meeting of the DSA disciplinary committee has been convened tomorrow to decide on this representation. The new dates of the second semi final and the final will be announced at the conclusion of this meeting.

Goodwill Football Club and Veteran Club were engaged in a 1-1 draw to share equal points in group-I super league match of the DLF-ONGC-Delhi Soccer Association ( DSA ) Annual Senior Division Open Clubs Football League championship-2012 - 13 held today at Dr. Ambedkar Stadium.

Both teams completed their engagements in group-I by collecting 5 points each from 3 matches to make it to the semi-finals. Goodwill, however, emerged at top position over Veterans on account superior goal average. Goodwioll now face 2nd placed team of group-II in the semi-final while Veterans meet group-II leaders in the semi-finals. Veterans surged ahead 1-0 in 7th mintue through Ajay while Goodwill restored parity 1-1 through nigerian-Abdul Peter in 27th mintue.

Later on, In another match of same group-Indian Air Force (Delhi) rallied to beat Hindustan FC 2-1. Nigerian recruit-ilva Andrea gave Hindustan FC 1-0 lead in 45th mintute. IAF equialised 1-1 following a fine header of G.S. Sandhu off a cross of Muesh paneru in the 54th mintue. Substitue Vikash completed tally 2-1 in 59th mintue.

IAF collected 4 points from 3 games while Hindustan finished with 1 point. Both teams bowed out from the championship race. Meanwhile, Shahdara Football Club had lodged a protest against Garhwal Heroes for fielding un-registered player namely A. Golmei against their super league match held yesterday.

The League Sub-committee has issued a show cause notice to Garhwal Heroes in this regard and directed them to submit their reply within 12 hours to take decision in the matter.

In the first match, newly promoted Goodwill Football Club held formidable Hindustan Club to a goalless draw to snatch one valuable point to keep their hopes alive for the semi-final contest. Both teams were responsible for not converting golden goal scoring chences to waste peanlty- kick awards.

Firstly, Hindustan's nigerian recruit Silva Andrea Gift failed to convert the spot-kick while missing the target in the initial half proceedings. Rest their forwards particularly-Dheeraj Singh and Jatinder Singh muffed easy chances following erratic shooting. On changing ends, Goodwill too created good chances from mid-field but forwards Deepak Thakur and nigerian recruit-Abdul Peter failed to encash good chances from close.

Garhwal Heroes Football Club trounced Tarun Sangha FC in group-II super league match of the DLF - ONGC - DSA Annual Senior Division Open Clubs Football League Championship-2012-13 being played at Dr. Ambedkar Stadium heretoday. in initial fifteen mintue proceedings, both teams failed to create any positive moves, however both teams were having good players on their side.

In the 19th mintute, Garhwal Heroes'medio Akhomli Golmei and nigerian Bala Al-Hassan Dahir initiated a well-kint move from mid-field on which striker Kamal Rawat following defensive lapse captialised on it to place nicely in far cornaer of the net to give his side 1-0 lead.

Down by this unexpected goal, Tarun Sangha lads combined themselves to make inroads in Garhwal's citadel through medios nigerian recruits-Effiney, Tunde who took shots to the target but rivals' goalee former Delhi captain Rajat Gauha foiled their good attempts effecting fine saves.
